Hi,

My oracle 10g database server in linux is very very slow.what are all the steps i need to make it fast.i am possesing only 10 databases in it with very less size.any other factors affecting the server slowness.

Slow In
a) Query Responce
b) data DML processing.
c) taking time for Backup

....What?

there are different factors by which we come do the conclusion that db is slow. what is your stroy?

what other (other then oracle) process running on this box ?
